Promote your award-winning wines in the rising market of Seoul, South Korea

The interest in and consumption of wine in South Korea has been increasing remarkably in the past few years. Decanter has therefore organised a trade and consumer tasting event in partnership with Winevision on Friday, 8 November 2024 to promote DWWA 2024 medal winners to the growing South Korean wine scene.

As part of DWWA's promotional opportunities, all DWWA 2024 medal winners (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Best in Show) are invited to have their wines showcased at the Seoul event, free of charge. 

Spaces available: 80 
Open to: DWWA 2024 medal winners (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum & Best in Show)
Bottles needed: 4 bottles per wine
At checkout, please only select a quantity of 1 when adding to the cart if you would like to register one wine and so on
Registration deadline: Wednesday, 11 September 2024

Please note:

  • Spaces are limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis. You may register for more than one award-winning wine.
  • Decanter does not charge a fee to showcase your awarded wine, however, successful registrants will need to cover their own shipping costs including duty and taxes. By registering, you agree to supply the required samples and organise the shipping of your samples.
  • Decanter will showcase your wine(s) for you - you do not need to attend the event.
  • Please note the number of sample bottles required, shipping details and deadlines below and confirm your wines will arrive in time before registering.

Shipping instructions

Decanter is working with our importer partner Winevision Press and logistics partner Hellmann to assist with your shipping.

Customs Charges & Insurance of wine: All duty, taxes, shipping costs and insurance must be prepaid by the submitter of the samples. 

Wines must be Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). Please liaise with your courier or local shipper for advice on how to complete the paperwork and process payments of any shipping costs.

Wines cannot be accepted by Winevision Education (Importer) and Hellmann (Consignee) if the charges associated with shipping have not been paid. The Submitters will bear any penalty and additional cost incurred from non-compliance with the declaration requirement in South Korea.
