DWWA 2021 Winners' Table

Decanter's world-renowned Decanter Fine Wine Encounter has launched a first-of-its-kind event in New York, taking place on June 18th 2022 at the beautiful Bay Room at Manhatta on the 60th floor.

As part of DWWA's promotional opportunities, Gold, Platinum and Best in Show medal winners from the Decanter World Wine Awards 2021 are invited to have their wines showcased at the inaugural event on the DWWA winners' table, free of charge

Please note: Spaces are limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis (max one wine per producer). Decanter will showcase your wine for you - you do not need to attend the event. You will need to send 2 sample bottles in order to take part. Please note the shipping details and deadlines below and confirm your wines will arrive in time before registering.

W&S Logistics will be responsible for receiving your wine deliveries and delivering them to the venue. All wines need to be handled by W&S Logistics, please confirm with Eugenia Bezzubets and Elodie Dupuy how you will be sending your wines by Friday 15th April (three options below).

A. Samples being sent from EU to W&S warehouse in France:

By the 22nd April at the latest:
Wineries must send their front and back labels, invoice packing list, FDA numbers and all relevant documents as discussed with W&S Logistics.

By the 6th May at the latest (and only after W&S green light):
Please deliver your samples to:

Opening hours: 8am – 12pm / 2pm – 5 pm

Please mandatorily label your boxes with the label provided by W&S.

All European wineries must either deliver wines with the EMSC (EAD document) or send them the exemption document. French wineries can deliver wines with CRD cups. You can request an estimate by contacting W&S.

B. Samples being sent from non-European countries direct to New York:

By the 22nd April at the latest:
Wineries must send their front and back labels, invoice packing list, FDA numbers
and all relevant documents as discussed with W&S Logistics.

After receiving your labels and invoice packing list, W&S and their US importer will apply for the COLA (certificate of label approval) from TTB.

Once approved, W&S will send you the approved COLA to stick on the back of your
bottle and will share with you the delivery address in New York and will give you the
green light to ship your wines.

You will need to ship by UPS or FedEx so please check if you have an account with them.

Shipment will be made in May. W&S will give you detailed instruction once you
have confirmed this procedure.

C. Samples coming from the USA:

Wineries must send all relevant documents as discussed with W&S Logistics.

You can only ship the wines from the USA. It can either be US wines or the wines already customs cleared and duty paid.

After receiving all the documents, W&S will send you the labels with the order number and warehouse address. These will need to be clearly displayed on your boxes. No shipment will be accepted without this label.

The warehouse delivery window: 16th May – 3rd June

Please ensure you send the correct wine and vintage for the WINE ID you have supplied. Wines will not be showcased if the wrong wine or vintage is received.

Custom Charges & Insurance of wine: All duty, shipping costs and taxes must be prepaid by the submitter of the samples.

Wines cannot be accepted by our logistic partner, W&S Logistics, if the charges associated with shipping have not been paid. Any penalty and additional cost incurred from the non-compliance of declaration requirement in UK will be borne by the Submitters.
