IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION

It is possible to ship your samples direct to the UK or with consolidated shipping (details below). It is also possible to group your samples for the event and DWWA 2024.

Exhibitor Group Delivery: If you will enter DWWA 2024, you can group your samples for the Italy Experience and registered wines for the 2024 competition to save on additional shipping logistics, added fees and time. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please register your DWWA-awarded wine for this event here, and complete your registrations for DWWA 2024 on the awards site, selecting 'exhibitor group delivery' as your shipping method. We will contact you with more information after registration.

Customs Charges & Insurance of wine: All duty, shipping costs and taxes must be prepaid by the submitter of the samples. 

Please do not provide the RRP on the commercial invoice as no commercial transaction has taken place. Please value each bottle of wine as £1/1 euro as a nominal value. Wines must be Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). Please liaise with your courier or local shipper for advice on how to complete the paperwork and process payments of any shipping costs. 

Download the shipping label and commercial invoice template and fill in to avoid customs issues. These documents are mandatory to use and should replace your own proforma invoice. You must place 1 copy of the shipping label on each box and at least 2 copies of the commercial invoice both on the inside and outside of the box.

Wines cannot be accepted by our logistic partner, EC Group, if the charges associated with shipping have not been paid. Any penalty and additional cost incurred from the non-compliance of declaration requirement in UK will be borne by the Submitters.
